Students who have passed the Class 10 (Matric) examination from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) or any recognized board are eligible to apply for the Bihar Board 10th Passed Scholarship 2025. Applicants must be permanent residents of Bihar. The scholarship is available for students belonging to various categories such as Economically Backward Class (EBC), Backward Class (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), minority communities, and differently-abled students.
To be eligible, students must have secured at least 50% to 60% marks in their 10th exam (varies by scheme). Family income should generally be between ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,50,000 per annum, depending on the category. Some schemes are specifically for girls, such as the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana. Students must also have relevant documents like Aadhaar card, income certificate, caste certificate, bank account details, and their 10th marksheet to apply online through the Bihar scholarship portal.
