Educational Qualification (Trade-wise Qualification)

To be eligible for the HPSC ADO 2025 recruitment, you must have both of the following:

1. Degree Requirement:
   • A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Honours) in Agriculture, or a B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering, from a recognized university.
      
2. Language Requirement:
   • Hindi or Sanskrit studied up to Matriculation level, or as a subject in 10+2, B.A., or M.A.

Exam Pattern & Selection Stages

Recruitment Test (Written Exam)

• Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Questions: 100
• Marks: 100 (1 mark per question)
• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer
• Breakdown:
  • Part A (Agriculture): 80 questions (80 marks)
  • Part B (General Studies): 20 questions (20 marks)
     
• Qualifying Marks:
  • Unreserved category: ≥ 50%
  • Reserved category: ≥ 45%
     

2. Interview (Viva‑Voce)

• Accounts for 12.5% of the final selection score
• Combined with the written test (87.5%) to determine the final merit
   

3. Post-Exam Stages

• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
  Required to confirm eligibility and fitness for the role
